Super Lawyers® weighs an attorney based on a number of categories, including verdicts and settlements, client testimonials, peer reviews, other professional achievements, and more. Only 5% or less of all practicing attorneys in a given state will be Super Lawyers® members for a given year. To be selected to Rising Stars℠, an attorney must meet the same strict expectations and either be under 40 years of age or have less than 10 years of practice experience. No more than 2.5% of all practicing attorneys will be chosen for an annual Rising Stars℠ list.
